Mr. MOM

Commander is now Mr. Mom.......

Roles are versing, but hopefully not for long.

Work Force Reduction is the new term for Laid Off

Simply means to me- how do we pay the mortgage or eat.
Lucky I have a part time job that I can pick up extra hours.

I think it is a strange thing to fall in LOVE again
in your darkest hours.
He has been optimistic, upbeat, and wonderful with the boys.
I have been a mess sprawled out on the floor.

Oh! I am SO sorry for the tough times and your husband losing his job!! It's a beautiful thing that you can find good even in this, though. What a man! sending my prayers for new opportunities!

I hope that things turn around soon! Once every thing is "back to normal," you'll realize it was a blessing...in a weird way. Thinking of you guys!

Hang in there. I am so sorry to hear that you are having such a tough time. You have a wonderful husband and I am glad you can find some good things. We hope to see you next month. Don't know dates for sure yet.

I am so sorry. Times are definitely tough right now. It sounds like you have a wonderful husband!!

Its during times like these that you really see how good you work together as a team (or not in some peoples case). Its great that you have a wonderful partner in life to get through these times.

I hope things start looking up for you soon!

That is one amazing man you have there, my friend. I am really hoping that all picks up for you, or maybe it is time for a career change for him? Sounds like he is tackling his new role beautifully!

What a great Mr. Mom. sending postive prayers for your family, I think we take things so much harder.. at least i do... i worry endlessly and my husband seems so relaxed, i'd be on the floor with you. Just know that I'm thinking of you.

Sorry to hear about that. You are lucky that you can work to pick up the slack for your family. I bet your boys will enjoy more daddy time.

Hey, I just stumbled across your blog and I think I'll pray for you.

Funny thing is, while he's not "providing" right now, your husband is making memories for the kids that will make them make note of this time as a good one. They get to be with Dad, and you get to stress.

Take care.

My dear...I'm a mess right along with you! I will be lifting you up in prayers as well...My hubby is in Real Estate...the homes are not selling as fast as they were...let's just say we haven't had a paycheck in 4 months...kind of feeling as if we've been 'laid off'.

Our God is in control and He's going to pull us through! I hear you on the falling in love again...both with my hubby and my God!

You've got a good hubby!!
Thinking of you!!

I am keeping you guys in my prayers, these are some trying times. I hate that new term "reduction in workforce", like they are trying to soften the blow by not just coming out and saying lay offs.
We had the talk the other day at work, in the second half of the year we should expect to have "reduction in workforce" in our department. Very scary!

I pretty sure we are headed down the same path! Lucky for us and our flexible part time jobs!
You are in my thoughts.

I feel you sister! I haven't even picked up the part time job yet and I am a mess.

Bless your heart! We have the same thing potentially looming on the horizon with DH's job, but no backup plan since I'm a SAHM. It's tough. I'll be thinking of you guys and hoping things look up soon.
